Breakthrough Manchester is seeking local high school and college students who are interested in volunteering their time for a rewarding teaching and leadership experience. Each year, we select a group of talented individuals to work with and teach our awesome middle schoolers who are eager to learn. No experience is necessary, but you should love learning, be enthusiastic about working with middle schoolers, and open to learning what it means to be a teacher. Teaching at Breakthrough has been named a Top Ten Internship in America by the Princeton Review, and hundreds of high school and college students just like you have taught at Breakthrough over the past 18 years. Join this unique community that will inspire you and make you a better student and leader. Application Instructions 1. Download, read, and complete the written application (Adobe PDF Reader required). It must arrive in the Breakthrough Manchester office no later than Monday, October 6th, 4:00pm. 2. Mail an official school transcript (available from your school’s registrar) to Breakthrough by Monday, October 6th. 3. Attend the Group Interview on Tuesday, October 7th, 6:00-7:30pm at The Derryfield School (directions available at www.breakthroughmanchester.org). 4. Schedule and attend an Individual Interview on the afternoon of either October 8th, 9th, or 10th. You can schedule this during the Group Interview.
